The ALT Centre is pleased to host the first annual Campuses Connected: The Affiliate Teaching and Learning Conference on Thursday, December 8, 2016. This conference will bring together faculty and staff interested in the scholarship and development of teaching and learning at Huron, Brescia and King’s University Colleges. We expect this to be a stimulating opportunity for faculty and staff to network, gather ideas for teaching and research on teaching, and continue to strengthen our reputations for personalized learning and student engagement.
We invite you to submit session proposals for this year’s theme: Small Classrooms, Big Impact. The deadline for proposal submissions has been extended to Monday, October 17, 2016. Conference strands may include:

- Collaboration with Libraries, Writing Centres, and Student Support Services

This year’s keynote speaker is Dr. June Larkin, winner of 3M National Teaching Fellow and Senior Lecturer in Women and Gender Studies and Equity Studies at the University of Toronto. An exceptional educational leader, Dr. Larkin empowers her students to apply, assess, and revise their knowledge about social justice by connecting them with local and international community-engaged learning opportunities.
