Getting Involved On Campus
One of the best ways to ensure that you enjoy and get the most out of your time at Brescia is to get involved in the wide variety of extracurricular events, programs, and opportunities available to you. Getting involved allows you to:
- Grow from the skills and personal development gained through programs and experiences
- Get to know yourself better and explore options
- Develop friendships and expand your social networks.
- Relieve stress and disconnect from the pressures of academic life
- Develop transferable skills and strengthen your abilities
Campus Recreation leads in the innovative promotion and delivery of recreation programs and services that inspire our diverse University community to live an active and healthy lifestyle. We encourage you to check out Western’s Campus Recreation website.
At Brescia, you have the opportunity to participate in both Brescia and Western University Clubs. Clubs are a wonderful opportunity to meet and interact with other students who have similar interests as you. If you cannot find a club to meet your passion, why not start your own. Visit the Brescia University College Students’ Council Office for information about starting a new club.
For an alphabetical listings of the clubs available on campus, please visit http://www.usc.uwo.ca/clubs/alphabetical.htm.
Brescia University College has an active Students’ Council which participates within the college as well within The University of Western Ontario student government. Elections are held annually for all positions. Check back later in the summer for more information about how to get involved.
